Root SBF_Flash

Can someone teach me how to SBF the Dx using SBF_Flash on a mac?

I downloaded the file, but it shows no file type on my mac and i don't know what to open it with or how to use it.

I would love not having to boot into windows each time just to SBF

You need to talk to Aggie12. He is our resident mac expert. you could use the Linux method and SBF it and it makes it much easier. Here's the link and instructions.

The links they're giving you is the easiest option unless you already have a VM running windows or a linux partition set up. That link is an all-in-one-file solution.

I already have a bootcamp partition that I use to boot into Win7 to SBF.

I was looking for something akin to RSDlite that I could run in OSX without having to boot into anything else or run VM.

all you have to do with that is, burn the iso onto cd, put in cd, restart your computer, hold down "c" while its booting up. boot phone into bootloader. hook up phone to computer, follow on screen instructions, phone reboots, you turn of your computer and restart it normally. took me about 15 mins last night. no partitions, no linux on your mac, its all on the cd

There is no way to do it in a native OS X environment. VM has to be used for RSDlite or Linux. The sbf_flash is a linux tool for flashing the SBF.
