Help SBS video wrong way round

Sheywood

Lurker
Hi,
Does anyone know if the BI3D Player can be forced to swop the left and right images?
Most of the content I have is half-SBS but the player won't display it correctly. It's sort of "reverse 3D".
The original stereoscopic MP4s can be viewed as 3d if using the parallel focus technique but the displayed image on the BI3DPlayer displays it as if viewing it using the crosseyed technique.
Thanks for any help!

You know the sign on the car mirror that reads "things are closer than they appear"? Yours should read "things that appear to be closer are farther away".

Sorry, though, I can't help you. Maybe an email to the author would.

Lol.

I'll write to them and see what they say, I just thought people might have ideas here first.

Don't let that put off anyone else contributing though...

I know this thread is quite old, but I answer anyway...maby you've allready fixed it but there may be other users that hasn't figured this out yet.
I bought a NEO3DO two weeks ago and had the same issue.
I found out that it will play local stored SBS parallell perfect and spot on if you add [3D] in the beginning of the title of the video. Example: [3D] Jurassic Park.mp4

YouTube converts and shows all SBS 3D videos as crosseyed as default.
The BI3Dplayer needs SBS parallell to show the video correct, but has no "swap L&R" button built in.
So if you want to upload 3D SBS to YouTube and watch them play perfect on the NEO3DO, you have to upload the video as crosseyed - to fool YT to show it as SBS parallell:
You upload SBS crosseyed video = YT swap the L&R (as default) = Your crosseyed video now plays as parallell.
