Help Scrabble sound problem

Here's the thing: I'm listening to music using Google Play Music. Then I decide to play Scrabble on my cellphone, which is a Samsung Galaxy Ace 4.

Here's the problem: When I open Scrabble to play, the music volume decreases, and I can't turn it up again to where it was, I can only do that when I quit Scrabble. Why does it happen? How can I avoid Scrabble into decreasing it?

Thanks in advance.

Badly behaved game by the sounds of it. These no reason why a board game should be overriding the music volume settings. Probably it's something the game's developers might have to fix, and could be worth emailing them about it.

"it's not a bug, it's a feature!"

Yeah I see. The people who made Scrabble is EA. So I have to contact this issue with EA, right?

All right, I'll see what I can do about it. I'll post their response here later, in case someone that may or may not passing for this issue wants to know.

Funny thing is: they made Tetris for Android and Tetris doesn't have this issue

I just tried EA Scrabble myself actually. It does stop music playing when it's running, and then plays its own in-game music. And even if the in-game music is muted, music from the phone's own media player is still stopped. That to me is unsatisfactory, because that is precisely the sort of game when I might actually want to be playing my own tunes, instead of just having the in-game stuff playing.

Yeh, definitely worth contacting EA about it, especially given that their Tetris game doesn't do this. And I just might do the same.
