Help Scratches on screen

My Motorola Triumph has a screen full of scratches (I know I should have thought about this earlier). I'm out of warranty. I can replace the screen myself. But, any suggestions where I can buy a replacement screen in the US?

1. The MT hasn't been out for a year yet, so there is no way you are out of warranty (unless you voided it).

2. Have you taken the stock screen protector off?

3. You can get a new digitizer for like $50 from various online retailers. I can give you links if you really want, but it will void your warranty and it's more than likely the stock screen protector if you haven't taken it off.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm pretty sure I have voided the warranty by now. I bought it used, and don't know how verify if the stock screen protector was taken off. Is there a way I can check that? Can that be replaced with another protector without loosing touch screen's sensitivity? I have InvisibleShield earlier, and wasn't very happy with the outcome.

if you look closely towards where the capacitive buttons are you should be able to see a little difference in thickness if the screen protector is on. The screen is made of Gorilla Glass so it should withstand scratches really well. As far as the warranty goes it doesn't matter if it was bought used. As long as it hasn't been taken apart you should be good.

Here's a few articles from here that talk about the screen protector and I think one of them has a video of removing it

Even though you bought it used, the moment you activate it with your account you have a year from that date. No need in trying to replace it manually. Just give them a call. I've had virgin mobile for like 7 years and trust me I know how the warranty goes.

Many thanks, Marc. I was able to get mine off fairly easily, and I'm amazed by how much crisper text is on my screen without that layer in the way. I think the screen's less finger-smudge-prone now too.
