Help Screen animations?

I saw on a store model that switching between different screens can have a little animation, but mine doesn't. How do I turn that on?

Just to clarify I don't mean switching from portrait to landscape. The animations where while flicking from the home screen to the next and the next, etc.

Go to settings> display> animation

I have mine turned off. Seems to save the battery quite a bit.
