I have had an og droid and droid x so far. I like them but played with a friends thunderbolt the other day and noticed it has a much nicer aspect ratio. Compared to my X it is wider which makes surfing the web much nicer imo. My question is, are all non motorola phones the same ratio as the thunderbolt? I want the galaxy nexus but only if it has the same wide aspect ratio.

Droid X: 480x854 pixels (9:16)
Thunderbolt: 480x800 pixels (3:5)
So the Droid X is more "wide screen"
HTC Sensation has a 540x960 pixels (9:16) wide screen.
New phones like HTC Vigor and Nexus Prime will have 720x1280 pixels (9:16).
So this new phones will have the same screen aspect ratio as your Droid X

You can't go by aspect ratio alone. The Sensation is narrower than a Thunderbolt while the Prime is wider.
