Help Screen Blank

Hello to all, I am new and would like to thank you for any help.
I would like to disable the feature that blanks the screen while on phone.
It seems that My case opening for front camera is not large enough, so MT thinks its always up to my ear.
Thanks for any help

I dont know if thats an option to disable. If you remove your case and on the top left corner right next to the speaker you maybe able to see a little discoloration (light sensor). If that is always covered then its always going to think its dark or on your ear. Have you tried it with the case off? If so what happens?

there's a few things on the front of the phone...from left to right...status light, proximity sensor, light sensor, speaker, and front facing camera.

if your case is blocking any of the 3 items on the left of the speaker (you can see under a bright light, 3 darker circles, then you run the risk of: not seeing your status light, blocking the proximity sensor which will blank the screen while you're in a call and/or make your phone ring louder if you have the pocket ringer option selection, and lastly cause your screen to be on the dimmer setting if you have the option for auto brightness selected for your display.
And NO you cannot deactivate your proximity sensor.

Hope this helps.
