Screen blanks out during voice call.

When on a call, the screen blanks after a while but when I push the Back button to turn it on, the call is terminated.
How can I turn the screen back on without terminating the call?

I think the menu key does it... check the manual (which you can get online - just google search for HTC HERO MANUAL)

I have been using the menu button. Than ending the call. I didn't know the back button would just end the call.

there is an app called shake awake in the market which awakes the screen with a light shake, which is quite effective.

I took your suggestion and I downloaded and installed "Shake Awake" and it pretty much screwed up my Droid, too lengthy to explain in detail... perhaps I'll give it another try some time in the future... Thanks Again...
