Screen Brightness Auto-Adjuster

I am looking for an app that can detect when it's outside or in low light and change the brightness accordingly. I have a 4.4.2 phone, the l70.

Ummm, don't all Android phones do that anyway ...? (If set to 'auto- brightness' in the settings that is!!).

Nice way to answer.

Anyhow, if auto brightness isn't tweaked right for you, can try Lux from Google Play. That will manage your brightness and give you lots of settings to tweak it any way you want.

Not always, some devices don't have auto-brightness, e.g. certain budget Samsungs. If a device has it, should see as "Auto" in the brightness setting. It's hardware, there's an ambient light detector.

What's an "L70"? Google suggests in an LG phone costing around $100 USD, which is budget.

Good question for op-is there a built in auto-brightness feature? If not, chances are you won't be able to add one with an app (because phone probably has no light sensor).

On my old samsung infuse (which had auto brightness feature), I built my own auto brightness using tasker....it was more customized to my preferences than the built in feature.

No, lux didn't find a light sensor so it uses the camera, and will probably use a lot of battery because of this. I seem to remember that my Motorola Droid (the original) had this option, by I don't have it in front of me.
