Screen brightness stays dimmed.

So I picked up the Volt with the Radio shack sale. I enjoy it but just today I noticed the screen dimmed. I've tried moving the slider and from the bring down menu and it doesn't do anything. The brightness seems to flicker a little bit now too. I've tried resetting the phone, turned it off and took out the battery but nothing seems to work. Do I have a bad phone?

Take the phone back ASAP. My first one had screen issues as well not a dimming problem though. Best way to describe it is almost like the resolution was messed up. Kinda like if you have a1080 monitor and run it at a lower resolution. Just didn't look tits. Or if it s missing pixels all over the place. On my newer on now there is one partial dead pixel but only notice it during start up. I can live with that. Never had a dead pixel on any device I have ever had till now. But then again I have only had nexus and HTC before.
