does anyone know how to get a screencapture I tried the normal methods but it was a no go. Tried using apps but goes to built in card and not very good images.

So you've already tried holding the home button and the power button simultaneously?

yes I have tried that and also using volume buttons camera button every combination it says on samsung phones

Its power and home. You have to hit them at nearly the same time. It can be a bit finicky at times.

yea I am finding that out I have not been able to do it on this phone yet other phones not a problem the evo was so easy for screenshots LOL but I will get it eventually

I agree, button combos are really unwieldy and finicky. Since I don't use the camera button ever, I made a Tasker profile for it. When the camera button is pressed, it runs the "/system/bin/screencap -p /[insert save path here]/$(date +%Y%m%d_%H%M%S).png" command and flash a confirmation of screenshot really quick... I love Tasker.

Edit: I need to stop reviving semi-dead threads...
