I haven't seen anything on this. Is the screen plastic like the Optimus V? Or is glass?

I did some poking around and apparently the Galaxy Nexus uses this Fortified Glass as well... Or maybe its just strong glass. Who honestly knows. But I found this most interesting...

There is a joint venture between Samsung and Corning, the company that trademarked Gorilla Glass. That may give a hint what it and the Galaxy Nexus glass really is.

I don't know what fortified glass means, but the screen seems to scratch very easily, more akin to plastic. I recommend a screen protector for this phone.
