Help Screen doesn't time out when plugged in

My screen doesn't like to turn off when its plugged in and it's very annoying. I can manually turn it off but once it's finished charging, the screen stays on till the morning when I remove it and it can cause my screen to burn. I know that on 2.2.1, they removed the "stay awake" option. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Try this:

Menu-settings-aplications-development. I think you want the "stay awake" option to be unchecked.

I don't have that option because I'm on Darky's Rom which is 2.2.1. I think I noticed that it started happening recently, noticeably after I installed widgetlocker. But it's still happening even after I uninstalled it.

nvm i had screebl enabled in widgetlocker lol
