Help Screen Fades out too soon?

My screen is set to 15 secs. It stays 15 seconds but, it becomes darker when I don't touch my phone in 8 seconds. I don't like this, is there a way to make it 10 seconds or don't do this at all?

I think it's hard-coded into the firmware. It dims when there's about 7-8 seconds left before the display turns off. This seems consistent regardless of whether you set it for 15 seconds or 10 minutes.

I think you have selected the option of background power saving option which you have selected the time of 5 second.I have also selected this as i have windows phone with a good windows support.
