Root screen freeze

Since rooting I have tried various rims,cm7,miui,hd revolution and at some point they all have froze,requiring me to pull battery,any ideas?
 
Are they just freezing or are you getting any error messages?

ARHD is overclocked quite a bit by default, as is CM7 (I think and not as much as ARHD). Not sure about MIUI. It could be that your handset just doesn't like being overclocked.

That's pure speculation at this point though.

Are you doing anything in particular when this happens?
