Help Screen freezes solid color

i'm running Vegan-tab ginger edition. Sometimes ( usually when running video but not exclusively) my tablet will freeze and the screen will be a solid color. (but never the same color) I will normally reboot it at this point to get it running again.

Any ideas or has anyone else seen this?

The video driver has not been optimized for any gingerbread build yet. The problem is especially bad with HD vids.

The only real solution is to go back to a FroYo based ROM, or wait for an update on gingerbread.
