I posted a while back about my screen freezing while the EVO was charging. For a while it seemed like it was getting better, but now it's just a disaster. My screen is now freezing even when not being charged. I don't know what's causing it, though I have two theories that might contribute to it:
1) the Evo seems to freeze more when it gets warm. i.e. I'll be able to play Angry Birds or Youtube for 10 minutes, then it freezes.
2) the Evo seems to freeze more when I'm in an area with relatively poor reception.
The damn thing is so inconsistent though it drives me crazy, so the above theories may be true or not, I just don't know.
I guess I could try a reset, I just HATE having to re-customize my phone.
FWIW my Evo is about 2 months old and running rooted, stock ROM.
