Help Screen frezzing

Is anybody's screen freezing up??? I've had my spectrum for about a week now and has it has frozen up 2 in 2 days, I've had to fix it temporarily by turning off and taking out the battery then reinstalling it,but for some reason it happens only when I'm texting....
any explanation as to why this happens would be much appreciated

I had it happen quite often before I rooted and flashed the BrokenOut rom. Many apps aren't jiving with the LG-skinned version of Android. The biggest issue I had was apps not recognizing input from the screen.

Oh I hated that problem! Pissed me off to no end when the phone would not take any input!

Has not happened since broken out 1.1 for me

After broken out 1.2 i completely forgot about this

How is Broken Out at rotating the screen from portrait to landscape and back? I'm having issues with my root stock Spectrum. I've figured out how to help minimize this, but it still happens...

No rotation problems like I had with stock.
