Help Screen Frozen at Lock Screen

Hi

I am trying to help a friend with her phone.

She has been using her phone fine, until one day where she could not unlock her phone from the lock screen. It turns on fine, but the touchscreen does not respond to her touch. Tried a hard reset, no luck. Any ideas to fix this issue??

Same thing just happened to mine. I tried the factory reset with no luck and ended up sending my phone to straighttalk and recieving a new one. but, if i am right your friend has 1 yr warranty on the one she has and they will replace it for free. And on the replacement they will also get a 1 yr warranty.
