screen goes blank

I got the maxx 3 weeks ago and I noticed that when the battery gets around 30% the screen continues to close just wondering if there was a issue or how I could get it to stop

If you have smart actions on when the battery gets less then 25% the display will have a shorter timeout if you don't want this to happen just go to smart actions and turn it off

I dont have any smart actions on not sure what it is but it gets pretty annoying

1 minute but it shuts off within seconds of opening it and will keep doing it untill i charge it

only thing that i can think of is to reset the phone ... if that wont work go to verizon

Turn off pocket detection in the settings. That will cause some screen timeout issues.

i have had that setting on my phone since i got it and never an issue

But your phone and the OP's are not the same. My pocket detection caused my phone to do exactly what his is, and it is a known issue with some phones.
