Root Screen Issue - Hardware or Software Related?

Anyone else having this problem, or have experienced it?

The bottom 1/3 of my screen is not refreshing properly, or quickly. For example, if I go to the market and scroll through the list, the top 2/3 will work fine, but the bottom 1/3 doesn't change or scroll, and then it eventually gets dark w/ verticle lines through it. Then, after the scrolling animation is done, it shows the proper info.

Thoughts?

Well, assuming I need to get a replacement, I'm guessing I should go back to stock. Currently I'm running the .596 version (not OTA, but the Deodexed one). Should I just SBF back to .240 and get OTA?

NOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Ugh, well under warranty, but isn't it still like $100?

Wonder if I can get a newer phone out of this.... <scheming face here>

No, if it's less than a year old it's under warranty and is free for a refurbished unit. Take it in or call customer service and they will mail it to you. Unroot it .

So I called for a replacement and they said that they'll have to troubleshoot over the phone. Do I need to go back to Stock before doing that? Can I void anything out if they find its on .596 leak?

Help Please -

Trying to flash, but getting error in RSD "Unable to retireve initialization values from INI file".

Phone is connected and recongnized okay. I've never had any problems before. Any thoughts?

UPDATE- Looks like it may be low battery related (though I thought 50%+ was enough)... Will keep charging and let you know.
