A few months ago my screen cracked and recently I purchased a new lcd and digitizer replacement. I installed it last night and it works, but there are a few annoyances that I'd like to have fixed.
First thing I noticed is that when the phone boots and the screen goes dark, that the bottom half appears lit, almost grey. Second the screen will flicker when it is not being moved. Third, I have to actually press hard on the search key to get it to activate.
I know these issues are caused by one of two things. Either I messed something up during the install or the screen I purchased is bad.
Has anyone run into these issues or have any advice about what I could do to fix them?
