Help Screen Lag

I shall suffer the abuse of those telling me to use the search function (I did, but found nothing relevant).

Got my Tab last week. Downloaded (free from Amazon) Sketch Book Mobile this morning (BTW - Looks like a very cool drawing app on the Tab). When I tried it out I noticed the touch screen lags pretty badly. Worse, trying to take notes (hand written) is for shyt.

Any solutions/ideas?

FYI - if there's already a thread out there, smack me in the head, point it out, and this one can be deleted.

I'd smack you in the head, but I can't recall the thread name right now, but it's already been discussed that the app is very laggy.
:D
I don't think it's an issue with the tablet, but the app itself causing the lag. I would try several similar apps and see if any others work better.

Hmm... Well, it isn't the app that's the problem. All apps, drawing and writing show terrible results. Now I found something on XDA that discusses the issues with the touchscreen, and an app which can adjust settings to help with lag. Trying that...

any luck?

There is an app in the market called Touchscreentune. Its written for the Tab. It allows adjusting a few parameters, but I can't say that it is 100% effective. You have to register it to keep the settings stored, otherwise lock screen or poweroff resets them.

I am awaiting for my stylus to test it with handwriting, and then we'll see if I will register it. If not, I'll keep looking for which files effect the touchscreen and fiddle with them myself.
