I have the Mytouch 4g and sometimes I can't answer calls or my screen will go to sleep and not wake up. I have to take out the battery to get it going again.
The usual scenario is, I will hang up from a call and then
the screen goes to sleep and locks, I will get another call and I can't answer it. After I get the missed call then the screen wakes up.
I have found that if I push the power button and wake up the screen immediately before I hang up from a phone call and press the end call button on the screen, then the screen doesn't hibernate and all is well. But if the other person hangs up before I do then the phone hibernates and locks.
I would send it back to HTC, but I bought it second hand and its out of warranty, so I am going to have to fix it myself. I did the factory reset and upgraded from Froyo to Gingerbread and neither helped.
If anyone has a solution, I would love to hear it. Thanks in advance.
