Help screen lock takes multiple presses to lock

Maybe others are experiencing this particular problem.

The screen lock button on the right side of the phone takes multiple pushes to actually get the screen to shut off.

For example, I press the button and the screen turns off and immediately comes back on. So I press it a few more times and it eventually stays off

I thought maybe it was the case I have but I removed it and the phone exhibited the same symptoms.

I have yet to perform a factory recovery.

mine did the same thing and now i cant even turn my phone on anymore...... if there is some sort of fix to this issue please let me know cuz i havent the slightest clue and been out of a phone for 2 weeks now

Does your screen come on when the charger is plugged in?
