Help Screen Lock / Timeout - Insane !!!

The phone constantly turns off and locks the screen after like 5 seconds and sometimes while I'm on it navigating through menus. I tried everything: removing screen lock, extending both screen and keyboard timeout to 15 minutes, nothing seems to help... Am I the only one to have that problem?
 
I set mine to 10 minutes and have not had any issues. but I dont think your the only one who has said they are having issues with this.

Guess I'm just one of the lucky ones that dont have this problem.
 
Having this problem too. Thought it had something to do with having Power saving mode enabled in display settings but even when that's turned off it's still timing out the screen in 10 - 15 seconds. I know that this timeout rate helps the battery, but it's getting very annoying.

Another thing I can't stand is when it does go into the screen lock, the only button I can press to bring up the screen again is the top key (lock button). I want to be able to press any of the keys on the bottom, or even tap the screen to bring the display back when it turns off.
 
I've turned off the auto-brightness feature and it seems to be a bit better now. It still times out but at least, it doesn't turn the screen when I'm doing something on it, otherwise it's ridiculous :(
 
Did you try the settings in the app spair parts? I know I saw a ton of unique settings that normally aren't there.
 
I ended up doing what Mike did and set screen timeout to 10 minutes. Seems to fix the problem where the screen lock was coming up every 5 - 10 seconds.
 
per baysider's suggestion, I'm using the no lock and it helps with having to unlock the phone every minute but the phone still turns the screen off on me very often - even when I'm typing on it.... insane :(
