screen lock wifi goes off

Hi

On my HTC Desire HD, I know I have changed a setting which disables WIFI when the screen is locked, naively thinking that wifi would come back on when the screen is unlocked. Wrong!

The very annoying thing now is that I cannot for the life of me remember the setting I changed

Can anybody help?

Settings > wifi > menu > advanced (I think).

Is an app causing this?

I experienced the same thing recently too and couldn't find anything in settings that controlled that.

Turns out the app "Battery Power Booster" was set to turn it off so I disabled it in there.
