I'm a proud note 4 owner now and I'm new to the forums! I'm just curious which screen mode do you guys prefer adaptive display or amoled cinema? Thanks note 4 rules!

Welcome to Android Forums!

I'll have to give you my preference once I'm rooted and set up (Developer Edition). My shiny new baby is still in the box o_O

It's great to have you here!

STILL. IN. THE. BOX.

I am expecting her brand new 128GB microSD card today. And I'll have her all put together in no time. Remember: I'm retired, so time is at my disposal here. I'm gonna do this carefully, slowly and (hopefully) correctly. So yes. Still in the box :)

Wow @ the chief your getting a developer edition note 4 that's awesome! That's what I wanted but wasn't available. You're gonna loveee it! It will be even faster too!

AMOLED Cinema here, one of many reasons I like Samsung is due to their displays, the incredibly vivid, high contrast and eye popping Super AMOLEDs do a great job, for me, and I want it to be as eye popping as possible.

I hear you Tsepz_GP! I've been using the adaptive display but I noticed the amoled cinema display is more eye popping thanks!

Awesome :) anytime!

Yep Cinema makes the display super saturated, its not for everyone, but if like me you like that eye popping saturated look then stick with Cinema.

For those who don't know, Cinema is what was known as Dynamic in previous Samsungs. :)

Does cinema use more power, or is it just a visual preference thing?

To be honest, I have no idea, I have never used the other screen modes longer than the 1st 10-15mins of owning any Samsung, I go for the most eye popping one and I'm done.

I get around 6-7hours on screen time with 14-16hours usage on my Note 4, if that helps.
