Help screen noise

my screen is making noise when im using the phone.. Corner of the screen closest to End/back button is moving just alittle bit.. really bugs me having this sound in my ear.. wth
 
Exact same thing happens to me. I think it's a design fault, there is a little gap between the upper part of the phone and the bottom near that corner.
 
yes.. it's bugging the crap out of me.. I call tech support about it and going to a Tmobile store on Monday to have them take a look..

If I rest my finger on the side of the phone it does'nt do it.. so, I really don't know what they will be able to do about it.. may have to deal..
 
alright, it was a lil tricky to see what he was talking about at first, but its located on the side with the buttons (power, home, back, etc) and when you flip your phone half way, its a ridge. I personally didnt have an exacto knife, so i just filed it with a regular household nail filer, thank god the noise is gone!! :]
 
Thhanks for the link! I was a little worried about the creaking on the phone...however I do think it may have something to do with the phone slamming into the edge(it slides out pretty fast) so I will hold off on maing the modification to see if the ridge doesn't eventually wear down.
 
shouldn't this be on the G1 forums? I dont think android makes any type of noise...
