Help Screen off animation gone??

[twflys]

I have tried adjusting my animation settings to no avail. The screen off animation is gone... I am quite surprised by this, I thought it was iconic of the newer Google devices. Too bad...

Ya I noticed when I loaded a JB ROM on my GNex the animation was gone there too.

It's still on the phones (including JB for the GNex, so MunderS, you either have your animation settings wrong, or your ROM didn't include the animation).

I don't think any of the tablet distributions have ever had it, though. Some of the devs have added it back in for the tablets, but all of the tablets I've ever used with stock Android versions have done away with the animation.

Yeah I'm on the almost stock jb ROM on my gnex and it still has the animation.

Its for Phones I don't think it comes on Tablets. My TF201 Prime doesn't do the animation either.
