Help Screen Overlay!?

[tommybayshore]

What is with this new "Screen Overlay" garbage, keeps popping up all the time, i have done everything in the book and it seems to fix it briefly then starts happening again, Android devs need to get with it and get rid of this ANNOYING issue... cant even scan a QR code with the Amazon app today because of this screen overlay error!

Screen overlay? Are you using some sort of screen filtering app there, like a blue light filter or something? I know they've caused trouble before now.

Can you post a screen shot of the error message?

Normally, the overlay protection prevents you from changing system settings and permissions without first disabling any apps that are running overlays. Its to prevent apps from "stealing" clicks meant for something else.
