So I broke my screen (glass is actually fine, but LCD is shot), and I'm looking to buy a replacement, but don't want to drop the $100+ on a whole new LCD+digitizer+glass assembly. You can actually buy entire GNexs used on Craigs or eBay for less than $50 either with water damage or a cracked glass but functional LCD. But these are usually Sprint or Verizon phones, and I have the unlocked version. I have the knowhow to swap parts (I already replaced my screen once), but are the screens the same part across the phones? I would think they are, but I remember reading something that said otherwise.
If you have a Verizon or Sprint Gnex, would you be willing to post the part number on your LCD? Or maybe even a picture of it? It'd be much appreciated.
