Indeed it does. I find it a bit more tricky than doing the same on an iphone, but got it down now.

I wonder if my android devices are doing this. I use this feature quite a bit.

Saweet!! So one less reason to feel like you need to root. I thought it was stupid to have to root to be able to take a screen shot, when iPhone does it outta da box.
