Help Screen Print

Can anyone advise how I go about saving screen shots from my HTC Desire Z. I'm trying to help someone who's having problems with a particular android app and if I could save my screenshots as images I could show them what I mean...

1. Download an app from the Market. But rooting may be necessary.
2. Download Android SDK to your PC. From there it's possible to get screenshots. Google for instructions.
3. Take a picture from the screen using digital camera
