Help Screen problems

I have an issue that's been very annoying lately. Every once in a while there's a little bubble in the middle of my glass screen as if its coming unglued from the rest of the phone.

If this area gets pressed (or the areas around it enough to disturb it), it makes the screen completely unusable because it registers that area as being actively touched. I have to lock and unlock my phone to clear away the "touch" and be able to use my screen again.

Example, I'll be typing, there's an audible sound, and then I'll see the bubble is either there when it wasn't before, or is now gone when it was there before. Either way the screen thinks its being touched there and I have to lock/unlock


Anyone have this happen before?

I originally thought it was a bubble in the screen protector, but its definitely the screen itself

If you're seeing that without the screen protector on, it might be a good idea to take it in for repair or screen replacement.

Have u tried heating it with a hair dryer then putting pressure on it mate?

Yeah, its still under warranty till March 2014, so I'm sending it back to Samsung. I've already got the UPS mailing slip printed out, I'm waiting on the GNex I just bought from Ebay to get here so I can send it off.


Its just that I've never seen anything like it, and was wondering if I could chalk this up to Sammy build quality or if its just an outlier

Sadly, I'm a single male with short hair

I noticed earlier on today putting pressure on it seems to make it worse though.

The screen is def detaching from the rest of the phone in the middle of the screen.

Must just be one of those things mate, a manufacturing error, not enough glue or something.

I apologize for the terrible front facing cam pic from the nexus 7(it was just as awkward to take), but here's what im dealing with.

I dragged my thump down and to the left and the circles you see in the middle of the screen are where its clearly separating
