I purchased an iVisor AG from AT&T when I got my phone. Also purchased a Belkin case at the same time and I would not recommend the iVisor AG screen protector that AT&T rep strongly recommended. It started "moving" slightly as soon as I got it (it was installed at the shop before I even left) and I took it off today as I couldn't keep it in its proper location (got the phone two days ago). My almost 2 year old blackberry Torch screen was not really even scratched after a ton of use without ever having a screen protector installed. Oh, and this screen protector was $25...

Maybe the iVisor AG will work better with my OB Commuter. Should have that case tomorrow.

Question about the Zagg full body skin...
Is the back of the case still removable with this skin on?
i have 2 spare batteries that i switch out if i need to.

thanks :)

I bought the Skinomi from Amazon. Have not installed it yet. Thought I'd carefully explore the "naked" experience first. My cheapo less then $2 black TPU case from ebay is just fine for now as well. Skinomi has worked well on my Viewsonic G-tab

ZAGG went on wet no problem, perfect fit etc BUT I could not get on with the surface feel. Too rubbery & Orange-peel. Went with the ANYMODE (from Mobilefun.co.uk) and that has a nice shiney smooth feel...but hasn't taken around all the edges. So I've bought two of the Vikuiti 3M to try them.

The poll would be better if you could submit a negative vote - for instance I'd vote "have tried Zagg & don't recommend it!"

I suggest not getting a tinted one, since the display already appears to have some form of tinting and is why whites are shades of gray. Compare to a device like the Razr with decent whites and you will notice.

I just ordered the Wrapsol front and back protector. After seeing my friend's iPhone with Wrapsol on the front and back... I was sold; I couldn't even tell he had anything on there. I previously swore by Steinheil for my Incredible, but I think Wrapsol has them beat by a small margin. Until it arrives, I'm not removing the clear protector that came with the phone.

Can Wrapsol be added to the poll as well?

Has too much trouble with the Steinheil nano. If you try to lift up or repostion the light adhesive they use will get all gummed up and render it useless. I think you get one chance to get it on right. Also I could never get every last bit of dust out so I ended up with a little pokey bubble. I can install the wet types with no problems, but I just couldn't get these to work. Nothing against Steinheil, I can't get others like this to work either

I ended up with a vz branded static type, looks fine.

I'll admit it's probably just me.

Has anyone had any luck with cases and screen protectors going together? It seems from my brief experience that many cases will peel the protector off unless the protector is cut short enough.

MODS, I'm going to post this in the case forum also as I think it's useful to both.

I got my wrapsol today. Apply slowly and use the squeege as you put it down and that should result in a near perfect application.

It is thicker, and I do feel and see a difference in the screen. I don't mind the feel, but the fact the screen doesn't seem as clear bugs me a bit.

However, the trade off is worth it to me. My first S3 was a doa, and while I was waiting for a replacement unit to arrive (it took 2 days), I dropped the phone. It was on my lap and as I got out of the car it fell onto the road. The screen chipped in two places. It freaked me out because my S2 has been thru a lot and has always had a naked screen and I had no problem.s, its still perfect now. So I feel protected with the wrapsol, and im happy with my choice, but yeah, there is a difference in the look and feel of the screen.

I like the back piece, its nice not having to worry, I wish it came with side pieces as well, but I'm putting it in a case anyways.

I took mine to my sprint store and they put it on for me It is perfect,I luv the stein hill nano protector. It has no bubbles as smooth as glass and can hardly tell its on there..the cool thing is you get three protectors in a pack so if you try to do it yourself and mess up you have to more too use.I ve also used the Casemate Tough Case on all my phones,it is a great case. This case with the nano screen protector is perfect, doesn't leave any of the top sides or bottom uncovered when the protector and the case are on. Great combo..

You know, thats a pretty good idea. I failed miserably on my first attempt to put a nano steinhill on my s3. It just went to hell as i tried to apply it. Maybe Verizon will give me a helping hand. :D

i got the Rearths, [Ultimate Clear Plus] Samsung Galaxy S3 Rearth Ringbo Screen Protector for [Sprint At&t T-Mobile Verizon US Cellular Unlocked i9300 3G GSM] Cover Film:Amazon:Cell Phones & Accessories
my phone came today and first thing i did was put the screen protector on, these fit and feel real good. just throwing it out there if anybody is interested, they dont use any liquid either

Put mine on today. I did it in a steamy bathroom which was overkill and made the job unnecessarily more difficult. The protector could be a hair bigger so that there is more coverage beyond the display and less need for absolutely perfect application. I did have to pull one dust speck out and it still went down smooth.

Side Note: My screen already has two micro scratches from a trip to the beach, even though I wrapped in two layers of plastic wrap and put it in a snack baggie. The touch screen worked through all those layers. The good news is the scratches are invisible with the protector.

Don't see the need for screen protectors. My phone fell off my car dashboard three times on the way home from work yesterday (stupid holder) and it doesn't have a mark on it :p

I put on an Xtremeguard full body protector a couple days ago and it's awesome. Application was a breeze and no bubbles. I have a TPU case that I was going to use, but I decided to go with a bumper case instead.

Plus, the Xtremeguard was extremely cheap, especially with the coupon you can use on their site. Can we add this to the poll as well?

No way! Impossible! Gorilla Glass absolutely does not need a screen protector! They tested it on the surface of the sun while giant asteroids slammed into it and there wasn't a single scratch. I've never used a screen protector and I use my phone as a boogie board at the beach...Blah, blah, blah...

Thank you for posting yet another example of how GG can be scratched. While your's are micro scratches they're still scratches. I don't care if people use a screen protector or not. I just don't like it when people give out bad advice saying GG is unscratchable.

I installed my Rearth today also in a steamy bathroom after going naked for a couple of days. It installed easy enough but I put it on slightly crooked so the bottom part hung on the edge of the home button. Instead of realigning it, I cropped the bottom to be just a millimeter longer than the screen. My capacitive buttons are running naked and I like it better like that anyway.

I'm liking this protector a lot so far.
