screen protector isnt very clear :/

hi all,

i wasnt going to get screen protector after hearing stories about iphone toughened glass and issue with them etc - but then was talked into it by another cpw store (in a nice way) - so got them to fit one (as im cr*p at it) - think it is called Invishied - or sumink like that

they said it took a day or so to settle down etc, but when i look at photos (stuff with brightness in the image) i can see an unpleasant ripple effect there

have peeps generally gone with protectors? if so any good ones?

Screen protectors with anti fingerprint/anti-oil coating tend to have a distortion effect. I have had my S3 since it was released in June and haven't bothered with a screen protector since about a week after that. Couldn't stand the distortion aka a pixelated look. My screen still looks like brand new. I don't bother with a screen protector any more.

thanks for quick reply - mmmm right - yes that is what im getting - not nice, esp as this has such a nice screen - i didnt get same issue with desire....but maybe just cause screen was so poor

I got a screen protector at the Verizon store when I picked up the phone. I found it made the screen image grainy... or pixelated. It was bugging me, so I came to this forum and found out about the Spigen Curved Crystal screen protector and ordered it.

WOW, what a difference! I can highly recommend this protector. Google it. It's as if there isn't anything on the screen. It's totally transparent. It's also very smooth to the touch.
