Screen Protectors

Hi everyone I would love to hear what people are doing to protect their beautiful new Samsung Galaxy S8 screen. I currently have a crappy eBay plastic film but due to the edge screen it keeps pulling back with my case. I am considering Olixar case compatible tempered glass screen protector but they are about $35 au. Does anyone else have thoughts or ideas thank you

Do you really need one? Don't use one on my S8, nor did I use one on my S6 or S7E. With a Spigen case on they survived every drop and remained scratch free.

In the past I've used screen protectors purely to protect the screen from scratches. Nowadays I find them near useless since we have decent Gorilla glass. Any case which is at least partially raised above the screen does a fine job protecting it really. That's just my experience tho

I've never used a screen protector, but then I do have a crack across my screen. I dropped the phone on a cobbled street, and a raised edge on a case only helps if you drop it onto a flat surface.
