Help Screen randomly turns on... and stays on...

Hello, everyone.

So, sometimes the screen will just turn on and stay on until I press the on/off button. Is this normal?? (rhetorical question)

Suggestions?

I'm also experiencing the same thing, my screen will turn on every now and then. Any ideas, please.

What apps do you have? Is it possible one of them is keeping it awake?

The only apps I have insatlled are ATK, Battery Indicator, History Eraser, & ASTRO File Manager. Battery Indicator is killed most of the time. Any other suggestion... THANKS!

I notice my monent will do this if I leave the wifi turned on. I have no idea why but it has always done it. Are you guys with the problem leaving wifi on?

It is probably completely unrelated but it could be related. Both phones are samsung and android after all.

no wifi is turned off as well as the option in the wifi sub menu to alert you when wifi is in the area.
