screen record

Hi all

How do people record their screens for uploading to YouTube? I am not rooted but would like top have a go at doing some game walkthroughs.

Cheers

There are some apps for screen recording, but they dont really have great reviews.

Im going to google it you can find everything as long as you tried to google it first.

Edit: maybe this? http://code.google.com/p/androidscreencast/ but youll need to connect your phone to your computer first.

Thanks. Thought there would be a more straight forward method than that. Just want to hit record. I had googled it, didn't come up with much so thought I would try here.

A lot of Youtube videos I see just have people setting up a video camera in front of their phones.

The Nexus 5 runs Kitkat, so it has screen recording.

Thank you vosg. Very nice to know. I see it requires root. No problem just noticed.
