So I dropped my s7 edge and now I am looking to replace the screen. Do I need a digitizer thing or can I just use a new screen

Yeah the display works when I press all the taps so that's why I was thinking I didn't need a digitizer.

The glass itself is only a few bucks. However, the whole display unit is probably $150+. It'll be quite a difficult repair. Samsung charges $270 for it.
