Screen rotating on its own

Can anyone tell me if they are experiencing irrational screen rotation? I just lie my phone flat and the screen automatically rotates to landscape, this shouldn't happen...is there a fix?

I see this occasionally on my devices (like, my Nexus 6P)...

I'm guessing the orientation sensors are more sensitive than in the old devices.

You can change / select how you want your device to behave by this setting:

Settings -> Display -> When device is rotated ​

And choose either "Rotate the contents of the screen" or "Stay in portrait mode" (at least those are my options).
