Root screen shot on stock roted lg esteem

there is any way to add the power menu from the custom rom to the stock roted rom zve the one with the option to take screenshots and boot into recovery without using a custom rom or is only for the customones?

I been tried this .when you mess with the power menu on stock . My phone never shut off . So this wont work
