Screen shots WITHOUT ROOTING!!!!!

I made an AWESOME discovery today!!! Someone posted on Facebook that they downloaded an app called ShootMe on the Android market and it worked on her NOT ROOTED LG Optimus C!!! So I downloaded it and tried it and it DOES work!!!!!! I don't know if this is specific to the LG Optimus line but i did not have to root my phone!!!! SQUEEEEEEEE!!!!

You can also screenshot using the Android SDK and there's an app called MyPhoneExplorer (you need the app for your PC and on your phone) which does it too; neither need root.

I'm rooted anyway but prefer the above methods as I found ShootMe was a bit of a battery hog.

Hmm, I only had it on while taking a couple screen shots then turned it back off. Did not notice any drain from my battery but then again I only had it open for 5 minutes lol.
