How to take a screenshot on the Samsung Galaxy S3 (free - no app required!) | Droid Lessons
It seems there are two ways to do this.
The first being to hold the power button and home button at the same time.
The second being to go into settings>motion>hand motion and check the box for 'palm swype to capture'.
If you have tried both without success, we may need additional info.
