Screen sign

Hi, there. I was really pleased to hear about this forum.
I have my HTC DESIRE HD for tree month, happy with a phone. Got sign apeared at the left bottom corner (Safe mode) since then I can not find any my downloads.
Can you help me please?

You must have accidentally had your finger on the menu button when you last rebooted the phone. Turn the phone off, remove the battery for 10 seconds, then replace it and turn on the phone being careful not to have your finger on any buttons.
