Help screen stays lit when locked after notification

Hey Bros!

LOVE my N5, no regrets after switching from iPhone

One thing that's bugging me ATM is when I get a notification (email, SMS etc) when my phone is locked the screen will stay lit until I either lock it again or open the notification. Is there a wayt to fix this? I am using Nils for lock screen notifications. Might this be the culprit?

Ok, I deactivated the Nils widget and the screen still stayed lit.

Next question; can I get Nils to work without keeping the screen lit? Or a similar notification app?

I use a combination of DashClock and Lightflow.

Lightflow alerts you to the fact you have a certain type of notification. Then just light up the lock screen, assuming you've set the DashClock widget, and see a summary of your notifications. Pull down for a more expanded view. Supports click through once expanded.

There are loads of extensions for DashClock, it's very well supported, probably because it was written by a google employee.

I'm an idiot; stay awake when on charge was on. Even with nils installed the screen will go back to sleep now plugged in or no.
