Help Screen Stopped Working

I've had my HTC One since the end of 2012. Just today I noticed the screen started to flicker. I figured it was no big deal. An hour later I check my phone again and the flickering is worse. Not only that, but after a few seconds the screen fills up with red and black and won't change back. I can lock the screen, but every time I go back it just flickers a bit and then fades to red and black. Sometimes it's black and white.

I've tried restarting it, but that doesn't seem to help. Any ideas?

I have an HTC One V and just the other day I was using it for google map and when I got to my destination and went to use it to call the screen was completely black and would not boot up
