Screen timeout during Google Maps

I did try to find this in previous post to no avail. Any way to disable the screen timeout during use of some apps like Google Maps?
Never is not an option for screen timeout, 10 min. max.

There are apps that let you set things like screen timeout for specific apps. App Override is one of them.

I'm having problems with this as well. Set in App rules "screen on" but it won't override the 10 min. setting I have in device-display-screen timeout.
Any advise would be appreciated.
