Help Screen timeout is 3 seconds? How to change to normal?

Recently my screen started to go off every 3 seconds, I don't remember changing this setting. Can anyone tell me how to change it back to normal? Also I remember before that when I opened apps such as Angry birds, Google Maps, the screen didn't timeout... was that because the "timeout length" was long or because these apps dont allow the screen to timeout?

three seconds? the minimum on my phone is 15 seconds..

settings/display/screen time out

the apps probably adjust ur screen timeout while theyre being used.. part of their permissions, depending on the app

ah yeah thanks. and i remembered why it was changed, cos i was playing with an app called android lost, and it lets you change the screen timeout remotely to any value
